Screamers are one of the [[creatures]] found in the game.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
They are hostile, two-legged monsters found exclusively in the [[Bunker (Biome)]]. These creatures appear blind and move using long, spindly limbs. Despite their lack of vision, they are highly sensitive to sound.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Screamers detect players through noise such as whistling, gunfire, or movement. Once they locate a target, they emit a loud scream that places the player into a pre-death state. This condition can only be avoided by killing the Screamer responsible before death occurs.&lt;br /&gt;

When killed, Screamers do not drop any loot.&lt;br /&gt;

== Behavior ==&lt;br /&gt;
Screamers are fully aggressive and will actively hunt players once they detect sound. They rely entirely on audio cues rather than sight to track targets.&lt;br /&gt;

Upon reaching a player, they will emit a scream instead of immediately attacking. This scream is their primary threat, as it triggers a pre-death state that forces the player to react quickly.&lt;br /&gt;

* Screamers rely exclusively on sound detection, making noise management critical when navigating their area.&lt;br /&gt;
* Their scream does not instantly kill, but creates a timed death condition that must be interrupted.&lt;br /&gt;
* The scream of the screamers causes the summoning of ghouls that are in nearby rooms. So far, it has not been determined how far the effect of the scream reaches.&lt;br /&gt;

== Tips ==&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
* Avoid making unnecessary noise in the bunker, as this will attract Screamers.&lt;br /&gt;
* Despite their dangerous ability, Screamers are physically fragile and can be killed with a relatively small number of shots.&lt;br /&gt;
** But be aware that this might attract other Screamers, so sometimes a melee weapon might be better. &lt;br /&gt;
*Killing screamers is relatively easy using the AS-VAL because it has a built-in suppressor, which means you don&amp;#039;t make any sounds, it prevents the risk of attracting ghouls and other screamers.&lt;br /&gt;
* Most of the time, it&amp;#039;s simply not worth trying to kill Screamers, as they don&amp;#039;t drop anything and killing them can be a waste of time and resources, unless they really get in your way.&lt;br /&gt;
