Orb Field

Orb Fields are a dangerous anomaly found in every biome except Bunkers. They are areas of black orbs that pulsate in a set area every few seconds. Successful navigation of orb fields is not difficult but without proper equipment and an awareness of what's around you, it can be easy to become overwhelmed. The orbs will only deal damage to the player upon expansion. While contracting or tiny, the orbs will not damage the player or inflict radiation. They are known to spawn in large numbers along the massive creature skeletons that sometimes spawn on the map or on long roads. As with Urchin Fields, and Holy Ghost Fields, Orb Fields will spawn in multiple points across the map in large clusters.

Artifacts are capable of spawning inside orb fields.
