Deer (creatures): Difference between revisions

Deer are one of the creatures found in the game.

They are commonly seen grazing or wandering around. Despite being neutral, they can behave unpredictably when entering such areas, deer may become aggressive and attack any nearby entity (both players and NPCs).

When killed, deer always drop 2x Raw Deer Meat, 1x Deer Trophy, and 1x Deer Skin.

Location

Deer can spawn in all biomes except the bunker.

Behavior

Deer are generally neutral and roam randomly across open areas. They will only become hostile if attacked. Once provoked, they will retaliate against their attacker. When their health becomes critically low, they will attempt to flee.

Notes

  • Deer affected by Holy Ghost fields will ignore their neutral behavior and become hostile to all nearby entities.

Tips

  • Deer can be killed with most melee weapons, but expect to take some damage during close combat.
  • While not typically dangerous, chasing a fleeing deer can lead you into hazardous areas such as anomalies or encounters with other creatures.
  • Avoid engaging deer when low on health, especially without firearms. Their speed allows them to quickly turn the fight and pursue you, making escape difficult.
  • All deer drops can be sold to Hunter at Sirzez, making them a reliable source of income. You can earn up to 171 ₽ (RUB) in total.
