Overview
Rework in progress
Electricity is a system in Misery used to power many machines and systems. It can be generated, used, transferred and stored in many different ways.
Sources of Electricity

| Gasoline generator | A gasoline generator. Fill it with gasoline to generate 1,000<ref>This is the in game description, but is incorrect, it only produces 300 units of power.</ref> units of power | 10 kg | 3x2 | As soon as gasoline is put into the generator, it immediately produces 300 units of power. | 10 per second |

| File:Placeholder | Dwarf Generator | A dwarf running inside the wheel will generate 5 units of power per second for you. Just don't forget to give him vodka to drink | 14 kg | 4x3 | Once gifted vodka, the dwarf will start running. It produces 1,200 units of power that can be drained at a rate of 5/s | 5 per second |
|
| Wooden Wind turbine | A wooden wind generator that produces 1 unit of power per second. Place it in windy areas<ref name=":0">By "windy areas" it means outside the bunker.</ref> | 3 kg | 1x4 | Does not need fuel | 1 per second |

Users of Electricity

While those devices use electricity, there are some that do not; The default crafting table, microwaves, sewing machines and crop pots.
Electricity Storage
There are two forms of energy storage, the car battery and accumulator.
The car battery is able to store up to 1,200 units of electricity, and can in or output up to 100 units per second. You can connect multiple car batteries with cables to increase storage capacity
Can someone else write about accumulators, as I have not used them at all, I also am pretty sure that solar panels are able to store some electricity.
Cables and Other Transfer Methods
Discuss how electricity is transferred (cable, combiner, splitter, switcher)
Electricity can be transferred between producer and consumer using cables. For non-fueled power sources, it is common to route the power through some sort of storage to store the electricity will the device is not in use. This can be done by connecting a wire from the producer output to a battery input, then the battery output to the consumer input.
The rate of electricity output to a battery can be further increased by using a combiner, to allow for one battery to effectively take in two sources, doubling the rate. Multiple combiners can be used to further increase capacity. Conversely, a splitter can be used to take one output and split it into multiple outputs, allowing one battery to power several devices. Again, this can be stacked to further increase the gain. A switcher has 2 main purposes. it can be used to turn on or off power to a user of electricity. It can also less commonly be used to extend power if one cable is not enough, you can add a switcher in-between 2 cables. This can be useful if you need to cover large distances with a continuous cable. A common use for the switcher is lights/the lamp.
