Frozen Massacre Sites are harmless anomalies and point-of-interest that have a chance to spawn in every biome type except bunkers. They are not known to contain loot aside from a few scattered dead bodies near the entrance and cars inside the anomaly. No frozen bodies or dead bodies inside the anomaly are lootable. The anomaly is characterized by military soldiers opening fire on what appear to be unarmed, mutated civilians. Nearby, more soldiers shoot people into a pile at the bottom of a shallow divot. The lore implications are unknown but appear to be connected to the frozen convoys in some way.

Artifacts are not known to spawn in frozen massacre sites.
