Overview

The 5.45mm ammo is the ammo type used in the AK-74 and has a stack size of 30. The description of the bullet also mentions the AK-74U, but that is not in the game.

Usage

As mentioned above, it is used for the AK-74, where you can fit 30 into a magazine for the gun. It deals a high amount of damage, but the exact value is unknown.

5.45mm ammo can be obtained in a variety of ways.

5.45mm ammo is a common drop from the zombie soldier enemy, as well as magazines for the AK-74

Crafting

It can also be crafted using 1 gunpowder, 2 scraps, and 2 iron bars in an ammo crafting station

Loot

It is a common find when looting, particularly as you reach later shinings, often found on shelves in various POIs.
